The logo is made up of a valve (the stylised “A”) and needle (the section that the “ES” sits in) – two critical components of early audio systems. All of the logo components are brought together by the shield defending the standards that the AES sets.
The new logo was designed to respect the past, and embrace the AES of today. The new logo is a friendlier more elegant look, easier to use across a variety of digital platforms and alongside all the standards, events, sections, academies and other initiatives that the AES works on every day.
