Presents the 17th Annual Audio Workshop for Students
Saturday, September 16, 2023.
Sign-in: 8 am – 9 am
Workshop: 9 am – 6 pm (Lunch Provided)
This workshop is intended for beginner students and adults who aspire career goals in audio production and post production. Students will attend four of six classes held throughout the day, followed by a panel discussion about careers in audio. The classes will cover fundamental topics necessary for a solid foundation in the audio field.
Topics to be covered include:
• DAW Fundamentals taught by Greg Gause.
• Microphone Fundamentals taught by Ben Yonas and Tim Jones.
• Live Sound Reinforcement System Fundamentals taught by Thomas Martino and Paul Hammock.
• Radio Frequency Wireless Microphone Fundamentals taught by Jamie Criswell.
• Critical Listening taught by Joey Stuckey.
• Television and Film Mic’ing Fundamentals taught by Jameul Dye.
All classes will be taught by audio industry professionals at Central Educational Center, 160 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Newnan GA 30263
The deadline for registration is Thursday, September 14 and space is limited. All attendees must be pre-registered.
