Join our development team
You will be part of our R&D team in Belgium, consisting of experienced system architects, and acoustical and audio processing engineers. The team has strong focus on front-end concept development and cooperates with mechanical engineers, DSP and software engineers and product managers within the EPOS group.
Our future Acoustical Engineer
You have a great passion for acoustical concept development, and you are very motivated to work with various kinds of acoustical concepts related to the acoustical design around microphones and loudspeakers, plus complete acoustical system designs. You thrive in a role, where you are part of setting the direction for overall concepts and architectures. Furthermore, you take part in developing and demonstrating new acoustical concepts and their potentials to end-users as part of state-of-the-art new projects
The ideal candidate holds the following technical qualifications:
Relevant education and 3-5 years of experience (acoustical background, telecommunication) Experience with acoustical design and development around microphone and speaker systems Experience in acoustical simulation models, tools and verification methods Knowledge about required signal processing to optimize system audio performance
Advantage:
Knowledge about mechanics and vibration control Experience in sound quality evaluation
Key personal skills are:
Great at moving tasks and projects forward in an efficient way Hands-on development approach Strong coordination and communication skills Good in conveying technical issues to both technical and non-technical people
