Calibration and Repair Technician

As a member of the imc US sales, service and support organization based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, you will be responsible for the calibration, troubleshooting and repair of customer equipment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and accurate calibration of imc test and measurement hardware at customer locations and in our imc office/service center in Ann Arbor, Michigan
  • Troubleshoot and repair customer equipment
  • Coordinate with factory resources in Germany on more complex calibration and repairs
  • Prepare calibration quotations
  • Provide logistics support for incoming and outgoing customer equipment and sales demonstration equipment, including technical inspection of inbound customer orders checking for accuracy and completeness.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and support

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in electrical engineering or electronics technology or US military training and experience in calibration of electronic test and measurement equipment.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience calibrating test & measurement equipment (in a commercial or military calibration lab)
  • Working knowledge of calibration standards (e.g. ISO/IEC 17025)
  • Strong work ethic
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Results driven
  • Ability to travel for onsite calibrations approximately 10%
