The role
As lead acoustic engineer you will lead and mentor a team of highly motivated acoustic engineers working to develop first class audio products. You will use your previous experience to enable your team to deliver excellent design services to a wide range of clients taking designs through from specification to manufacturing.
Required skills
·A degree in physics, acoustics or a related subject (or equivalent experience)
·Experience developing loudspeakers and transducers in a research and development team in an audio company
·Design of enclosures, passive and active filters and acoustic tuning with DSP
·Great organizational skills, process driven
·A good communicator and team player
Nice to haves
·Previous engineering leadership experience
·Experience of the measurement and analysis of loudspeaker performance (Klippel, Audio Precision)
·COMSOL skills for modeling and simulation of loudspeakers
·Experience of project management tools
