Do you have experience testing mobile apps (preferably hybrid apps)? Are you passionate and knowledgeable about music, audio technology, and recording?

If you have answered yes to both of the above, we’d love to hear from you! We are expanding our QA Team, and we are looking for someone to step into a brand-new role, helping us to test the mobile apps that bring our industry-leading interfaces to life.

What you will be doing:

Contributing to the continual evolution of our test approaches and tools will be a key part of your role. You will work closely with the rest of the QA Team, as well as Software Developers, Product Designers, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters from across our Engineering Department.

Key activities include:

Defining the scope of QA/Test activities across key mobile software projects Generating and executing robust, well documented, and maintainable functional, non-functional, and user acceptance tests Implementing automated testing wherever appropriate to enable more efficient regression testing. Documenting and reporting test results, working closely with software developers to address any issues.

An ideal candidate is likely to be:

From an app (preferably hybrid) testing background, with 2+ years of demonstrable professional experience Comfortable with both JavaScript and React Familiar with both iOS and Android ecosystems Experienced with at least one relevant test framework A clear communicator, methodical and rigorous, with a logical approach to problem solving Self-motivated, with a track record of improving test processes and coverage Passionate and knowledgeable about music, audio technology, and recording.

Experience of some of the following would also be useful:

Continuous Integration (CI) and Version Control Systems (preferably Git) Agile development approaches (e.g. Scrum) App Development/Test Tools, e.g. Appium, fastlane, TestFlight, adb, etc

I don’t have all the experience you’ve asked for, should I still apply?

Our priority is to find the right fit for the team and the company, and we will always do what we can to support individual development. In other words, if you don’t quite have all the experience listed above, we’d still be interested in hearing from you. Let us know what you’d bring to the role, and why you’d be a great fit for the team.
