This paper deals with an amplifier/loudspeaker three-way system wherein an electromechanical transducer has been applied to the low frequency (woofer) to correct any nonlinearities of cone motion that would affect overall true reproduction. The system`s advantages will be discussed via graphs and charts together with the practical approach facing the more sophisticated user of today. Relationships of size, power-handling capability and low-frequency response limits will also be discussed.
