This paper describes the application of Digital RTL Integrated Circuits in an Electronic Rhythm Generator. J-K Flip-Flops are used with an oscillator to generate a pulse train. The pulse train drives a Logic System composed of RTL Nor Gates, Expanders, and Inverters to derive specific pre-determined pulse patterns. The pulse patterns key the various percussive type voices to obtain the desired rhythm beat.
