Andrés Mayo, former President of the AES (Audio Engineering Society), is an audio engineer and music producer who has pioneered the art of mastering since 1992. He boasts credits in more than 3,000 albums released in all formats, from vinyl through BluRay. Andres co-chaired the first AES Conference on Audio for Virtual and Augmented Reality (AVAR), held in Los Angeles in 2016, and since then he has been working tirelessly (together with fellow engineer Martin Muscatello) in the development of techniques and workflows for immersive music production.
Andres Mayo Immersive Audio boasts a Dolby Atmos – Neumann room and caters for all sorts of deliverables, from 360° podcasts and commercial ads through documentaries and music productions.
Member of the P&E Wing Advisory Council at NARAS, Andres is a 2-time GRAMMY and 7-time Gardel Award winner. -
Andreas EhretDolby, Director Automotive
Andreas Ehret has been active as a technology leader in the audio industry for over two decades. He joined Dolby back in 2007 and since then served the company in various engineering and technology VP leadership roles, managing the teams that created solutions
scaling into billions of consumer devices.
Over the past couple of years his focus had been on the
market introduction of Dolby’s next generation audio codec AC-4, as well as contributions to bring the Atmos music experience to life. These days Andreas’ focus is on developing and expanding Dolby’s Automotive business – whereas lighting up Dolby Atmos in cars is a key strategic ingredient thereof.Andreas is a strong believer in concepts such as use-case driven exploration, lean principles, rapid prototyping, collaboration with the industry, maintaining artistic intent, and validating consumer value.

Abstract:
For years, the leading car manufacturers have been enhancing the driving experience with great audio capabilities. Complementing other features like tactile screens, haptics, and ambient lighting, immersive audio content is now being created to play exclusively in these environments. In this panel, Andreas Renhorn, Brian Caiazza and Andreas Ehret will present the challenges of bringing top-quality audio experiences to iconic carmakers such as Volvo, Lincoln and Ford.

Bios:
Andreas Renhorn is an Acoustic Systems Engineer with long-term experience in the automotive business building branded high-end systems. Andreas has developed systems for immersive audio and virtual acoustics generating great impact on the global market. Holding a master’s degree in Sound Engineering and is passionate about contributing to the wonderful world of music + technology.
Brian Caiazza is a creative director and multi-sensory design leader with over two decades of experience in automotive, technology, and culture. At Ford and Lincoln, he helped pioneer multisensory design systems, integrating sound, light, and motion into cohesive, emotionally intelligent in-cabin experiences. His work bridges brand storytelling and emerging technologies, shaping how interfaces and environments communicate with people on both functional and emotional levels.
Andreas Ehret has been active as a technology leader in the audio industry for over two decades. He joined Dolby back in 2007 and since then has served the company in various engineering and technology leadership roles, managing the teams that created solutions scaling into billions of consumer devices.
In his current role Andreas is responsible for Dolby’s global automotive business, setting business and product strategy to further expand and nurture Dolby’s automotive business by bringing new innovation and experiences like Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision to cars.
