AES Conferences are held periodically in locations around the world. Conferences focus on a specific field of audio engineering. They serve to create a forum amongst professionals in that field and through these gatherings and the publication of their proceedings, contribute to the advance of international science and technology.
Any AES member can submit a proposal for a conference, describing the topic, location, proposed committee and budget. The proposal goes through a review process by the Events Coordination Committee (ECC), before going to the Board for approval.
For a brief overview of hosting a conference please see this information sheet.
More detailed information about hosting a conference can be found in the Conference Organization Guide.
A conference proposal must be accompanied by a budget proposal.
