AES Atlanta Section – 19th Annual Student Workshop
This workshop is intended for beginner students and adults who aspire career goals in audio production and post production.
Students will attend four of six classes held throughout the day, followed by a panel discussion about careers in audio. The classes will cover fundamental topics necessary for a solid foundation in the audio field. Topics will include:
- DAW Fundamentals taught by Greg Gause
- Microphone Fundamentals taught by Tim Jones and Jason “Spanky” Salzman
- Live Sound Reinforcement System Fundamentals taught by Thomas Martino and Paul Hammock
- Radio Frequency Wireless Microphone Fundamentals taught by TBD
- Critical Listening taught by Joey Stuckey
- Television and Film Mic’ing Fundamentals taught by Jameul Dye
All classes will be taught by audio industry professionals at the Central Educational Center: 160 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Newnan, GA 30263.
The deadline for registration is Thursday, September 18th, and space is limited!
All attendees must be pre-registered. AES Members and Student Members are FREE. Non-member registration costs $40.
