AES Atlanta Section Event – EQ Shootout
Have you been curious about how plugins compare to analogue gear, or how different your analogue EQ sounds compared to others? Are you wondering what outboard EQ you might want to buy?
Join us at Mount Paran Christian School’s LeFevre SoundLab on July 25th to take a listen to some legendary EQs from API, Avalon, Chandler Limited, George Massenburg Labs, Manley, Mercury, Millennia, Neve, Pultec, Solid State Logic, Summit Audio, and a bunch of plugins on a variety of sounds so you can know what you like and why.
At 6:30pm there will be a time to eat pizza and network with other AES members before the shootout begins at 7:00pm. Feel free to bring your own analogue EQ if you want to patch it in and see how it sounds alongside everything else!
Please remember that Mount Paran Christian School is a drug and alcohol free campus.
The deadline for registration is Wednesday, July 24 and space is limited. All attendees must be pre-registered.
