AES Los Angeles Section – ATMOS – It’s Not What You’ve Heard
Join award-winning immersive mix engineers Matt Wallace and Will Kennedy for a deep dive into ATMOS – what it is, why it’s been both praised and condemned, and why it’s become the format of choice for so many engineers.
Will and Matt will demonstrate some ATMOS mixing techniques in their own ATMOS certified mix room, and talk about many of the challenges inherent in the format’s acceptance. In-person attendees will also have the opportunity to hear ATMOS mixes in an ATMOS Certified vehicle.
