AES Melbourne Section Event – Integrating Audio into the Gaming Experience: Software Packages and Workflows.
Audio Educator, Nick Harrison will walk through topics essential for understanding game audio implementation workflows. He will demonstrate native audio implementation within Unity and then delve into middleware implementation using Wwise and FMOD. Attendees will become familiar with the intricacies of object-based panning, spatialisation, occlusion, trigger boxes, real-time parameter controls and common game audio scripting tasks. The talk will conclude with a demonstration and discussion on head-tracking and spatialised binaural audio for VR development.
