AES Philadelphia Section Event – Dolby Atmos 2024 Presents Grammy Award-Winning Mastering Engineer Michael Romanowski

This is an online event.

Come join us for an interactive Dolby Atmos discussion featuring a Q&A with Marc A. Gallo, David Ivory and Michael Romanowski. In this session, we’ll talk about subjects such as client references, best practices, mastering and deliverables. It’s designed to address the questions and use of Dolby Atmos and the Renderer along with the Dolby Album Assembler. In addition, it’ll demonstrate how to get the most out of this format and examine the paradigm shift occurring from mono and stereo to immersive audio. Embracing new creative artistic formats is a learning process that can be a daunting process, whether you are a seasoned engineer or just building your skills. Please bring your questions and observations. We’ll also show the Dolby Atmos facility at Montgomery County Community College near Philadelphia, and the 9.1.6 mastering room at Coast Mastering in Berkeley CA.
