AES Toronto Section Event – “Hear” for a good time
This is an in-person event.
Join us for an enriching meetup as we explore the dynamic world of audio engineering with two distinguished presenters. Marshall Chasin, a renowned audiologist and musician, brings extensive experience in music, musical instrument acoustics, and hearing-aid-fitting methods for musicians. As the go-to audiologist for numerous practicing musicians, Marshall’s insights are invaluable. Alongside him, we have Steve Armstrong, an accomplished Electrical Engineer who embarked on his journey at McMaster University, earning his degree in Electrical Engineering. Steve’s career at Gennum Corporation saw him evolve from an Analog Chip designer to a leader in electroacoustics and psychoacoustics. As the Director of R&D, he spearheaded a team that innovated an ultralow-power DSP platform, leaving his mark on various successful projects in the Hearing Aid market with patented innovations and delightful contributions.
