The essence of this presentation is to play an interactive DVD-Audio disk containing two audio recordings, one pure acoustic and one acoustic simulation using a MIDI sound source. The first recording is a live performance from a traditional Scottish vocalist/guitarist; the second is an original composition by the presenter. During the presentation/demonstration, the presenter will cover all aspects involved in creating the DVD product from audio recording to mastering. Because Steinberg`s Nuendo software was used for all 5.1 Surround Sound mixes, the presenter will illustrate using Nuendo various methods developed in producing the two music works.
