This paper describes a 5-channel recording for sound demonstration of a Baroque music ensemble with counter-tenor. The recording was made with seven microphones and subsequently mixed down to five channels. This recording is successful at capturing the music and energy of the ensemble in the natural acoustics of the church in which it was recorded.
