Computer controlled audio test equipment has been on the market for several years. They have, however, become more bulky. Expensive and complex to become a `standard` audio test instrument. This new design integrates all system components into one easy programmable and portable unit, with even higher performances than the existing systems. The philosophy and programming of this second generation test set are discussed.
