This paper describes a distinct modification of the square-wave/sine- (SQ/S) and triangle/sine- (TR/S) TIMD measurement method. A new test signal better resembles real-life signals and acquires both "dynamic" and "static" nonlinear distortions simultaneously. Test signal properties are analyzed and measurement results are compared with other methods for different types of nonlinearities. Feasible test instrumentations are discussed.
