Real Voice Microphone Calibration as a Utility Laboratory Method

In the testing of close-talking or noise-cancelling microphones, real voice calibrations are a virtual necessity. Real-voice methods can also be used for comparison calibration satisfactory for many engineering purposes, using readily available test equipment. The paper shows calibrations of this type to emphasize the utility of the method.
