An analog electronic model of the closed-box system is designed with variable basic parameters: B1, CAT, and MAS. Equalizations by means of motional feedback are applied to simulate a closed-box system with fc=30 Hz and QTC=0.7. Corresponding types of bass-lift characteristics for different combinations of the basic parameters are analyzed with music signals. Requirements for the amplifiers peak power and the thermal power capacity of the driver are determined and compared. It is found that low frequency equalization changes the statistical parameters of the musical signals so that the peak power remains almost unchanged though the average power increases.
