Computer-aided design has been used to optimize the crossover networks of some of the most widely acclaimed loudspeakers thus far produced. The design and implementation of a mico-computer based system that is within the grasp of even small loudspeaker manufacturers is discussed. Recent developments from the fields of automated network analysis and optimization techniques are employed.
