This paper will present a discussion of the following subjects: the fundamentals of electrolytic capacitor applications; the use of electrolytic capacitors in power-supply circuits, including selenium rectifier and voltage multiplier circuits; filament supply filtering with electrolytic capacitors; and the use of electrolytic capacitors in dividing or crossover networks.
