The most important question for us continues to be: Is the quality of our radio and television transmission good enough, and here only the quality of the sound is meant. We cannot just say that the Hi-Fi technique is not as good as the studio technique. And perhaps we would not have to make any efforts any more than. In fact, there is an equilibrium between the studio and the Hi-Fi technique at home. The individual building stone of the transmission chain in the studios is to some extent fulfilling much higher demands than the listener`s Hi-Fi receiving set. But there is one thing which is of importance here: The studio technique chain and the way of transmission to the transmitting antennas, which are radiating the program, is so long and consists of many, yes too many building stones or individual apparatus. Each individual apparatus causes a falling off in quality.
