The term -Crosstalk- used in the specification of amagnetic recording head is often regarded as a single parameter. There are actually several specific types of crosstalk, each of which has a particular value to the systems designer and specification writer. Several of the types of crosstalk and typical measurement methods are discussed with particular attention to those in audio frequency applications.
