A discussion is given concerning those FCC Rules which pertain to the audio fidelity characteristics of FM broadcast transmitting equipment. Included are the FCC technical standards for multiplex FM stereo transmission, and information pertaining to the recently adopted standards for type approval of stereophonic modulation monitors.
