Technical Committee 29 of the International Electrotechnical Committee is responsible for preparing standards on audio and other topics in electroacoustics. The procedures, subjects under consideration and future plans of TC 29 are described. The record of the Committee is reviewed in terms of the IEC Recommendations that have been prepared by TC 29 since its first meeting in 1953.
