The advantages and limitations of speaker arrays for use in the average living room. Smooth extended range bass response within limited dimensions. Proportion of reflected to direct sound which simulates the -normal- conditions of listening to live music; the problem of the distribution pattern of the speaker.: An array can simulate many of the aspects of a stereo system; brief description of an electronic pseudo-stereo system.
