Line Source Arrays are used for sound reinforcement aiming at the synthesis of homogeneous sound fields. In this contribution an adjoint-based approach is introduced. By defining a target sound field within an objective function the method allows the optimization of acoustic sources. The adjoint approach allows the consideration of a base flow, such as the influence of wind.
