A microphone intended for processional applications employing the electret concept has been designed into a package resembling a conventional tie tac. In use the pin-like coaxial probe pierces the user`s clothing to interface with a small electronics assembly. This approach permits the transducer to be placed in a good location without the microphone and its cable being visually ovbious.
