Investigation of the influence of noise signal characteristics on the efficiency of the ANC system for causal and non-causal systems.

Currently, noise suppression systems based on the FxLMS algorithm are widely used. The efficiency of these systems depends on several known characteristics, with causality being one of the main ones. If the noise signal reaches the microphone (or ear) before the compensating signal, theoretically, the system`s efficiency should be zero. The aim of this study is to determine the relationship between the characteristics of the noise signal and the effectiveness of ANC systems in the case of causal and non-causal systems. Is it possible to achieve stable noise suppression in the case of a non-causal system, and what factors determine the magnitude of suppression?
