Hi fi sound distribution in vehicles is circumscribed by the captive positions of the listeners, the differential sensitivities reaching their discrete locked-in place positions, the inherent characteristic beaming pattern of the loudspeakers and the ambient acoustic conditions within their wrap-around enclosure. Cross-fired fields and satellite systems are discussed in terms of providing separable stereo fields for all listening positions.
