A new and useful set of low-frequency assisted alignments contain A. N. Thiele`s sixth-order (B6) Butterworth alignment as a central member. The alignments provide the same low cutoff with moderate amplifier boost (+6 dB) and low out-of-band driver excursion as the assisted B6 alignment No. 15 of Thiele. The method of alignment generation is based on shifts of driver suspension compliance.
