A music realization based on a hybrid computer installation is presented. The chief advantage of such a system is its simplcity and ease of implementation. The system incorporates the analog features of the Moog and the digital characteristics of Music V. It can operate either monophonically or polyphonically, and its coding is simple, direct, and musically accurate. A comparative illustration of Music V and Hybrid Realization is made and discussed.
