Basic feedback principles supposedly well known are often not properly utilized. Eight types of amplifier feedback are reviewed and input and output impedance tailoring is explained. In particular it will be shown how two feedback types combined can set output impedance to a particular value, such as 600 ohms, without using swing-limiting 600-ohm series of shunt resistors.
