A simple circuit will be presented for deriving an adjustable phase output from the Tektronix SG 505 audio oscillator. Phase and amplitude adjustments are independent of frequency. Using a notch filter and a spectrum analyzer, distortion measurements can be made on systems previously unmeasurable such as quadraphonic logic decoders. Using a digital multimeter, separation measurements can be made with the logic circuits active. Results of tests on commercial units will be presented.
