On the 2-channel stereophonic reproduction, the sound localization has been obtained only between the left and right loudspeakers. But with the application of this new sound localization control theory, the entirely new reproducing system come into existence, in which sound image distributing area is extended beyond the loudspeakers. In this article, basic theory of this new technology is described and its advanced applications for stereophonic system are shown in this article also.
