Blasphemy-The Manta-Ray Horns!

Existing directivity control theory has been expanded yielding a unique horn design. This design improves on many of the problems present in prior-art horns including vertical polar widening at low frequencies, poorly shaped polar response curves and poor front-to-back energy control. Several directivity-control mechanisms are introduced which define the new Manta-Ray horn geometry. These include a tall, non-radial mouth and a quadric horn bell. Directivity-response performance is presented.
