The natural reverberation in a hall can be reinforced by a chain microphone-amplifier-loudspeaker, resulting in a longer reverberation time. Acoustic feedback limits the maximum amplification. Further amplification can be obtained with multiple amplification channels. The results of an experiment in a hall of 1300m3 are reported.
