Transistor Preamplifier Power Supply Requirements

In addition to supplying the current requirements at the proper voltage, the designer of power supplies for transistorized preamplifiers must consider the acceptable levels of heat dissipation, noise, and voltage drift. A brief survey of the sources of these factors can quickly lead one to their reduction as cost allows.
