Tests of loudspeakers intended for operation in a corner of a room cannot be performed satisfactorily in a conventional anechoic chamber. A new type of chamber has been devised. One corner is provided with a 4-vaned turnstile door rotatable on a vertical axis. With the door indexed in one of four positions, a trihedral corner is provided for testing of devices intended for use in a corner. With the door indexed in another position, a dihedral corner is provided in which special constructions may be devised. A third index position of the door provides a flat baffle. A fourth index position exposes the normal sound absorptive material, so the chamber is typically anechoic.
