A new self-contained pulse-testing device is described. Applications for loudspeaker testing include error-free loudspeaker polarity detection, driver phase alignment, and detection of clipping and ringing. Some acoustical phenomena which can be tested are flutter echo and time delay. Unique problems and their solutions are shown.
