Developments in multitrack techniques have produced a demand for audio consoles with larger numbers of track outputs. There has been a consequential increase in the number of front panel controls. A thorough analysis of the requirements for recording consoles has led to a design which offers operational advantages while maintaining high standards of reliability, technical performance, and flexibility.
