A large number of today`s Evangelical Protestant churches have sound reinforcement needs equivalent to those of a rock group on tour. In addition to high sound-pressure levels and a wide frequency-response capacity that must be delivered in typically large and adverse acoustical environments, the system must also provide intelligible speech and be unobtrusive to the owner while matching the decor of the room (the latter requiring unique system design acrobatics). Such a facility is the one-million-cubic-foot auditorium seating 4200 of the Tri-County Assembly of God in Fairfield, Ohio.
