A facilities house which is well equipped to handle the complexities of the vision signal may not necessarily be the optimum place to handle the sound signal. However, modern installations are all -stereo capable- although it is unclear where the commercial advantage lies in being so! The presentation discusses some aspects of sound and vision facilities houses.
