Inasmuch as electroacoustics is concerned, the transducers - mics and loudspeakers - are of paramount concern. While the studies of acoustics, and psychoacoustics, are the very essence of electroacoustics, this plenary talk will be limited mainly to the development of the hardware, focusing on transducer development.
