The advent of stereo television has created a number of problems for the film/audio post production facility. Techniques that have been applied to mono television are not necessarily viable for stereo TV. This paper attempts to clear up some of these obstacles, and to discuss current and pending standards relative to monitor equalization curves, SPL ratings and recorder formats.:
