Audio Signal Processing in Optical Videodisc Production

The optical videodisc is being expected as a medium which can provide both high quality picture and sound. At first in this paper, the principle of the optical videodisc has been reviewed. Then, it has been discussed how the audio signals are processed in the premastering stage and recorded onto a glass master disc in the mastering stage.
