The design brief was for a realistically priced VCA fader automation system that could be retrofitted to a mixing console not previously designed with automation in mind. The system should be easily installed with minimal, if any, mechanical and electrical changes to the console. Particular attention is made to the user interface and the systems accuracy and performance.
